How to hide or unhide your PC on network using cmd
Hello guys, we meet here with a very useful tutorial. Generally hackers get access to our PC from network.
Means our PC is visible in a network. But this is a good thing to be in a network by not hiding when your PC is acting as any FTP server or if you wanna transfer files over network. You can even join in Homegroup to share files with PC with in your network. But when you want to be remain anonymous with in the network by hiding, you can hide or unhide when ever you wish from network. Just enter the following commands in Command Prompt.
- In the command prompt, type Net Config Server and press Enter.
- If it is hidden, then you will see Yes to the right of Server hidden.
- If it is unhidden, then you will see No to the right of Server hidden.
To hide yourself in network, just enter this command:
Now hit enter, you will get a message that command completed successfully. Now restart you computer to apply settings.
Net config server /hidden:no
Now hit enter, you will get a message that command completed successfully. Now restart you computer to apply settings.
